yes, to rescue a princess, a woman of such high social status, it would prove useful for my jouney later on, he thought, his expression blank.

"I do not know to which you refer." KhurQuinn replied. "Do I have some loose wires hanging free?"

"Well, I ain't about to check. Maybe later when we're a little more friendly." Looking over at O-Ren, he cocks his head. "Sorry to pry, pretty lady, but it sounded like you were looking for some help there. I'll be happy to apply, if you think i'll measure up to the task." Despite his cheerful friendliness, his demeanor's still just sleazy enough that O-Ren can probably hear his eyebrows wagging.

o-ren was still suspicious as to why the spirit fell silent, what was he planning? something bad, most likely....she thought.

o-ren then heard a male's voice, "Sorry to pry, pretty lady, but it sounded like you were looking for some help there. I'll be happy to apply, if you think i'll measure up to the task." he was offering to aid her, this could get interesting.....

she turned in general direction, doning a false innocence, "hello, i'm o-ren ishida, whats your name?" she asked, with a very convincing act of being flustered at the man's 'pretty lady' statement...

ooc I'm not even gonna roll for insight. Zero probably doesn't even want to know if she's not pleased at his remark.

"Zero Spacejunk, at your service! I'm a pilot." he adds, probably thinking that it's important somehow. "What is your name?"

Is O-Ren 'looking' towards Zero? Or is it really obvious that she's blind?

ooc: yes, she is blind, she's just looking in the direction she heard zero's voice.

god! what arrogance! o-ren thought, digusted. does he actually think he's flattering when he behaves like that?!
but still, he said he's a pilot, that could prove to be of some use to me...

no! not him, he shall not assist you! i won't allow it!!! the spirit yelled in a rage!

o-ren was beggining to understand her position with the spirit, and if she has guessed right, she knew how to get the upperhand.

"very well, zero. you may help me, that is, if its not to much trouble...." she asked, with a feigned innocence.

Zero raises an eyebrow. as there is something definitely unsettling about the lady's eyes. "I've already offered my services to the Captain here, though. Kidnapped princess. State emergency and all that. Still, maybe I can squeeze you into my busy schedule." he boasts, with just enough playfulness in his tone to show that he's being tongue-in-cheek.

ooc BTW, I'll be leaving for the weekend, and probably won't be able to get online until sunday night.

"We should begin our search immediately, captain. I will scan the area for any clues to the female's method of egress." KhurQuinn lifts his left arm and his holographic scroll appears in front of him. Choosing a few seemingly random symbols, a sweeping light erupts from the image, covering the area.

There seems to be some heavy interference, and you can't even pick up a simple heat signature. Perhaps you can try again later.

"I'm afraid I cannot discern anything. Too much interference. Perhaps they are using an inhibiting device." The scroll rolls back up and winks out of existence. "A more mundane, visual scan may be in order."

"Hmmmm... still, it was a good try. Everyone, why don't we split up and search the area at least? Do whatever you can to gather information."

Everyone roll a check YOU think would be appropriate to search for something. Either search with your eyes using Perception, search for magic sources using Arcana, etc.

KhurQuinn nods his head in agreement and begins concentrating. He sends out his 'seekers', his innate magical senses, to search where his scanners could not.

Though they are in a building, Chu'nak tries to implement his honed tracking skills to discern the direction of the abductors.

Khurquinn, you can certainly tell something is giving off a magical vibe towards the west end of the colony, something unnatural.

Chu'Nak, you still manage to notice some tracks in the ground and a slim trail of blood following along with it. The blood trail slowly comes to a stop, but the tracks continue on, westward.

Ryltar stood back and listened to the chatter. "What a motley crew this is turning out to be. This could be fun though to join in and I might be able to gain some coin and do some killing in the process" Ryltar thought

Ryltar quietly goes up to the general and says "I will help in the search" and goes off in another direction to help search for clues.

You do notice one of the fallen henchman has it's mask is damaged, making easier to pry off to see what you're dealing with underneath.

" i hope you can, sir. you seem so reliable and trustworthy. " o-ren said with a smile, the fakest smile she's ever used!
what scum! she thought bitterly, i shall kill him as soon as he's no longer of use, or at least if he tries anything funny.

"have you forgotten, i can still possess your body. o-ren...."

Ryltar bends down and remove the mask from the fallen henchman.
